Strata business deals observed steady energy in 1H2025, according to a research report by Knight Frank Singapore. Cautions lodged show that both the strata office and strata retail industry reported higher transacted values in the first fifty percent of the year contrasted to the second part of last year.

Looking in advance, the overview for the strata business industry stays unconfirmed, in the middle of a backdrop of intensifying geopolitical tensions, recurring protectionist moves by the US and getting worse global conditions. Furthermore, the strata retail industry continues to be born down by increasing operating expense and changing customer behaviour, motivating merchants to adopt slow expansion plans, says Knight Frank.
In the strata office market, a total of 189 transactions were filed in 1H2025, more than the 170 agreements registered in 2H2024. However, the standard unit cost of strata office properties reselled declined, decreasing from $2,878 psf in 2H2024 to $2,787 psf in 1H2025.

In the strata retail market, there was an uptick in sales worth in 1H2025, despite a limited dip in quantity. There were 113 strata retail deals in the first fifty percent of the year, matched up to 116 in 2H2024. “Just like strata workplace units, certain strata retail transactions might not have been captured as cautions were not lodged,” Knight Frank adds.
